Mechanism of a Concrete Pump Truck
As concrete is heavy, abrasive, and full of rocks. It runs the chance of solidifying quickly and hence requires to be kept moving continuously. Therefore, piston pumps are used to generate hundreds of atmospheric pressure that push cylinders with concrete mixes.
The concrete thus produced is discharged through a mesh gate onto the hopper of the concrete pump truck.
